The beautiful resort is in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand . Auli or  Bugyal (meadows in the local language) was initially inhabited by  Bhotiya Tribes . The place was a hub for trade and business at that time . For years , people from this tribe use to trade on the barter system form people of  Tibet and near by countries .

• Auli Ropeway 

Auli has one of the longest and highest ropeway in the world and is the  only chairlift in India . Auli's cable car (Gonda in local language) covers a distance of 4 km and connects Auli with Joshimath . The ropeway provides majestic views of Himalayan range and Oak forests .

• Auli Artificial Lake 

Auli's Artificial Lake is the world's Largest man-made lake in the world . It is a  transcendent  lake perched at the high altitude . This lake was made by government in order to create artificial snow during low snowfall seasons . Water of this lake acts as a good surface for skiing . 

• Chattrakund

The lake of Chattrakund is a small  lake of blue crystal water in between the lush green forests . This place is no less than a fairytale place and is best for those who wishes to seek peace and tranquility . It is located at 4km from Auli and 3km from Joshimath .

• Gorson Bugyal 

Gorson Bugyal has one  of the longest ropeway across the world . It is elevated over  3000 altitude and covers peaks of Nanda Devi , Mana Parvat and kamat . This ropeway ends with many memorable experiences .
