Tiger fall is also known as keraao Pachad and kailu Pachad in the local language at Chakrata . Falling from an height of 312 feet , Tiger fall becomes the highest waterfall in India . Falling from such a height , water of the fall enchants loudly between the hills . Voice of the fall resembles with the roar of a Tiger . And hence , the fall is referred as Tiger Falls .Water from this fall drops into a small pool . Visitors enjoy bathing here and spend their time in the soothing environment . Mindrolling Monastery

Mindrolling Monastery is one of the  of the six monasteries of the Nyingma school of Buddhism and was built in 1965 by Khochhen Rinpoche . The place consists of the world's tallest stupa of an height of 60m .  The place is an  excellent example of Buddhist art . This place is located in Dehradun . 


Tapkeshawar Temple


Tapkeshwar Temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and is located at a distance of 6km from  Dehradun . The temple is often referred as Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple . The temple is famous for  naturally formed Shiva linga inside  the cave . The place is most visited on the occasion of  shivratri . 

Forest Research Institute

The Forest Research Institute of India, also known as  FRI Dehradun is a research institute and  was established in 1906 .The place is located at the distance of 5km from Dehradun .The research institute is famous for holding a vast collection of forestry related items in its six museums .
