JAMA MAZJID at Fatehpur Sikri is considered as the most beautiful and largest Mosque in the World . This grand mosque was completed in 1571 by Mughal Emperor Akbar . Entrance of this magnificent Mazjid is the Buland Darwaza , the largest gate in India .

Jama Mazjid , the most beautiful and the  largest Mosque in both India and World and is situated on the highest point of Fatehpur Sikri complex . The immense mosque comprises of the largest gate in the world , Buland Darwaza and one of the religious center of Muslims , Tomb of Chisti . JAMA MAZJID was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1571-1572AD and often referred as Friday Mosque . The mosque was built under the supervision of Sufi Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti and is considered as the first building constructed in the complex . Jama Mazjid was declared a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE in 1986 .

Jama Mazjid amalgamates all the finest elements of Iranian architecture . The mosque is a rectangular structure and is decorated with glazed tiles , carvings , stones and paintings . This Mazjid comprises of a single dome , two halls at each side and two chambers crowned with domes . It has three entrance gates at the North , at the South lies the Buland Darwaza and at the East lies Badshahi Darwaza . The mosque also comprises of large courtyards .  

Jama Mazjid is considered as the most visited Tourist spot in Fatehpur Sikri .

Panch Mahal is a five level Palace and was built by Emperor Akbar . The palace is situated close to the harem . It is famous for its splendid structure . It is also known as Wind Tower . This palace was used as a recreational and pleasure palace by the queens and the other ladies of the court .
