Sahastradhara is located at the bank of river Kali Gad at a distance of 15 km from the capital city Dehradun . The area has got an amazing spread of waterfalls and caves which mesmerizes everyone from its splendid views .The place is famous for its medicinal water . Water which drips off the stalactites has got a good amount of Sulphur in it . And thus, known as Sulphur Springs. This sulphur water inhabites medicinal and therapeutic values .It is believed that a dip in the water of Sulphur spring can cure your skin diseases . This water spring has relatively lower temperature as compared to the surrounding . Sulphur Springs also has a man-made amusement park Joy Land . Here, you can enjoy different swings and waterslides making this place a famous picnic spot .

Mindrolling Monastery

Mindrolling Monastery is one of the  of the six monasteries of the Nyingma school of Buddhism and was built in 1965 by Khochhen Rinpoche. The place consists of the world's tallest stupa of an height of 60m. The place is an  excellent example of Buddhist art. This place is located in Dehradun.

Tapkeshawar Temple


Tapkeshwar Temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and is located at a distance of 6km from  Dehradun. The temple is often referred as Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple. The temple is famous for  naturally formed Shiva linga inside  the cave. The place is most visited on the occasion of  shivratri.
