 Panch Mahal is a five level Palace and was built by Emperor Akbar . The palace is located on the north east direction of Jodha Bai's Palace and close to the harem . The palace is famous for its splendid structure and is also known as Wind Tower . This palace was used as a recreational and pleasure palace by the queens and the other ladies of the court .

Panch Mahal is an excellent example of Persian architecture . The structure is basically a five floored pillared pavilion and was built to alleviate the heat . All of the floors are inter - connected by a flight of stairs . The ground floor has 84 pillars . These pillars provide the base to the structure . The number of pillars decreases with the increasing floor . The first floor has 56 pillars , second has 20 pillars , 12 pillars on the third floor and 4 pillars on the forth pillar. All of these pillars are beautifully carved with Persian architecture . 

These pillars initially had jaali which used to act as a Pardah for the queens and princesses . From here the queens and princesses were used to enjoy the cooling breeze and look at the magnificent Sikri forts . This Mahal used to be a summer retreat and an entertainment center . A pool, known as Anup Talab is built in  front of the Panch Mahal . This pool used to have a stage where all the entertainment  performances  used to take place .

Buland Darwaza, also known as the 'Gate of Magnificence', is one of the largest gateways in the world . This  loft gateway at Fatehpur Sikri was built by the great Mughal emperor, Akbar in 1601 . King Akbar  built this stunning monument to celebrate his  victory on Gujarat.

JODHA BAI'S PALACE is the Palace of the principal wife of the Emperor Akbar . This palace is one of the most important and largest Palace inside the Harem . The fortress has all facilities , provisions and safeguard .
